As I already wrote, it does not work on FreeBSD. It does not work
on Solaris, it does not work on HP-UX (just tested). So it does
not seem to work anywhere except on Linux.

It is most unlikely that it will go BSD.
Even GPL would probably not apropriate.

The only code from Linux that would be of interest for Solaris
is driver code. Solaris has a much better overall kernel implementation.

Let's see... At least, they are not willing to give me the Solaris 8
source code to the same conditions I cot S7 because they beliebe that
the free source will be available soon.
Linus kernel people could learn a lot from looking into the Solaris
source ;-)
