mkhybrid problems

Hello All,
I am trying to make a mac hybrid cd and when I insert the cd into my
mac...the p.o.s. doesn't recognize the files as executables or mp3s
or.....

Here is my command lines

mkisofs -R -J -hfs --double -o file.iso /dirname

I'm frustrated and wasted four cds.
