Yes that's it, and it's bad. It is hard enough to parse the text output of
all CD tools. But it's even harder to write a stable parser if error output
and standard output are mingled. Having the non-error information on stdout
would really help. Who maintains the package? There are several names within
the source. I would voluteer to change the code if the change really makes it
into the distribution.
