I'm writing to ask about compatibitly of a Sony drive. The number is
CRX160E-A1.
I thought I would ask if anyone has any info on this drive because it is
not listed at all (supported or unsupported) on the cdrecord web page. I'm
planning on using with Linux.
According to the person that is supplying the drive (a windows person), it
will not work with adaptec and you have to use recording software supplied
by sony. I'm wondering if the same problem that affects compatibility with
adaptec could cause a problem with cdrecord.
