You can use gcdmaster (old xcdrdao). It is a graphical app. So you can
add the wavs to the "project", insert silences between tracks, cut
tracks,
... and you can also do the burning from inside the program (using
cdrdao).

don't look at the screenshots, they are old. Download both cdrdao 1.1.4
and
gcdmaster 1.1.4. It uses gnome, but it's statically linked, so it will
work
without gnome around.
