        Thanks for the replies.
        Unfortunately I beg you to bear with me a little longer.

a) creating the script - There are over 100 files and 50 directories on the
chosen directory -  Is there a way to create the script painlessly?

b) -exclude - Again - there are over 50 directories - Is there a easier way?
