This assumes a Linux box or similar, but last time I tried
I didn't manage to create a image of the Solaris install CD
on Linux. It only dumped 1 partition. This was a 2.0 kernel,
maybe now its working.

I created the image on Solaris, with iirc something like

dd if=/dev/dsk/c0t4d0p0 of=xxx.bin

This assumes a SCSI cdrom as target 4.
