I tried to set an index point at 2 min 50 s into the second track of an audio cd I was making, as follows: cdrecord -v -dev=0,4,0 -pad -audio audio_01.au index=0,12750 audio_02.au The disk is written OK, however my home CD player (Sony CDP-970) doesn't recognise the index point, although it does see index points in commercial CDs. Any hints as to what I am doing wrong? Cheers Daniel % cdrecord -dev=0,4,0 -inq Cdrecord 1.9 (sparc-sun-solaris2.7) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jrg Schilling scsidev: '0,4,0' scsibus: 0 target: 4 lun: 0 Using libscg version 'schily-0.1' Device type : Removable CD-ROM Version : 2 Response Format: 2 Capabilities : SYNC Vendor_info : 'YAMAHA ' Identifikation : 'CRW8424S ' Revision : '1.0d' Device seems to be: Generic mmc CD-RW. % uname -a SunOS hostname 5.7 Generic_106541-11 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
