Err, I guess you should have checked the latest source ... the file
re-naming code has changed quite a bit since v1.12b5 ...
Get the latest version (part of the cdrecord package) from:
ftp://ftp.fokus.gmd.de/pub/unix/cdrecord/
BTW. Eric no longer maintains the mkisofs code ...
