No, Alpha is still supported by Red Hat Linux officially. The
Alpha release often lags behind the i386 release by a month or
so. The sparc port is available via FTP only and is not
supported or sold. Support for sparc as a sold product was
dropped due to lack of interest by users. The sparc userbase is
so small that dedicating the resources required to the sparc
releases was not worth it. That doesn't mean that it isn't
worked on however, quite contrary. It just isn't a supported
"boxed" product currently.

Alpha _is_ supported so if there are bugs in the Red Hat Linux
Alpha release, please report them via bugzilla:
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla
Take care!
