I'm pulling my hair out here, can't get cdrecording to work. here is
all the info i can think of, hope someone can help

have also used kernel 2.2.17 with same results
 also updated cdrw firmware to 2.1 with same results

have recompiled cdrecord under the current kernel
I've done everything that i could find or think of
