Sorry, but it looks af if you did not read the recent dicussions in this
list...
One important (and late) change was to make sure to make cdrecord always
print the timing for a failed command. Without this timing is close to
impossible to give more than general help.
Also, I frequently add this URL:

which states that I donit have the time to support anything than _the_
latest version.
BTW: if you like to pay people to do support for cdrecord or if you like
to support older versions, you are welcome.
