Upgrade of our CD Burning machine

Is it safe to assume from the deafening silence, that no one on the list
has
any information to share on running cdrecord on Solaris 7 or 8 on an
Ultra-5 workstation?

I will let you all know how it turns out in case someone else has the same
config..

Hi folks,
     We currently burn CDs on a Sparc 10 system running Solaris 2.6. We are
going to replace it
with an Ultra 5 running either Solaris 7 or Solaris 8. Has anyone had
experience with either of these
OS versions and cdrecord? Was it good or bad experience? Did you have any
issues with the
low-level scsi driver? Any info/help would be appreciated. Thanks
