Hi there I have been reading the archives and saw Andy De Petter's problems (13 sep 2001). I get almost the same: cdrecord: Input/output error. flush cache: scsi sendcmd: no error CDB: 35 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 status: 0x2 (CHECK CONDITION) Sense Bytes: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 0C 00 00 00 Sense Key: 0x3 Medium Error, Segment 0 Sense Code: 0x0C Qual 0x00 (write error) Fru 0x0 Sense flags: Blk 0 (not valid) cmd finished after 21.751s timeout 200s Trouble flushing the cache Fixating time: 21.753s cdrecord: fifo had 11731 puts and 11731 gets. cdrecord: fifo was 0 times empty and 8947 times full, min fill was 90%. This is with Linux version 2.4.9-ac9 and cdrecord-1.11a07. I also tried the -nofix option but it does not make a difference. What is the status on this problem?
