I just got a new Toshiba SD-R1002 CD-RW/DVD drive and went to use cdrdao
1.1.5 on it, only to get this error message:
> Executing power calibration...
> ?: Input/output error. : scsi sendcmd: no error

> Writing track 01 (mode MODE1/MODE1)...
The rest of the write session went just fine, and I could read the CD-R
in my CD-ROM drive. Still, should I be concerned? cdrecord 1.9 seems
to be just fine and dandy with its power calibration:
> Waiting for reader process to fill input buffer ... input buffer ready.
> Performing OPC...
> Starting new track at sector: 0
Is this a bug with cdrdao?

It has been justly observed by sages of all lands that although a man may be
most happily married and continue in that state with the utmost contentment,
it does not necessarily follow that he has therefore been struck stone-blind.
