Hi all What is the status of DVD-R and DVD-RW writing using cdrecord? I have tried with the latest 1.11a8 and all I get is a message telling me to get cdrecord-ProDVD. But I'm unable to find any more info about how or where to get it. Can someone point me in the right direction please? I also noticed a new driver when i upgraded from 1.10 to 1.11a called mmc_cd_dvd. It does improve the situation somewhat compared to using whatever driver cdrecord choose as the default. It correctly identifies the media as being dvd-rw and not cd-rw and therefore doesnt fail on scsi-commands anymore. However, cdrecord instead says that the command is unsupported. What to do? Is the only solution to use cdrecord-ProDVD?
