Hello. Many of you may remember my posts concerning computer freezes during the burning process.
I am posting again to state that my problems have (basically) been solved. I am now running linux 2.4.16 and cdrtools 1.11a12 (RPM available http://home.earthlink.net/~noodlez84/rpm_packages.html). Over the past few days I have been burning a total of about 2 dozen music CDRs using cdrtools _without_ incident. Nothing else was done during the burning process. If the reader recalls, my computer would freeze at random points during the process when I burning with pre-2.4.16 linux kernels. This basically confirms by previous diagnosis that any linux kernel before 2.4.16 has a very shitty VM. Obvious there are no replies necessary to this, as I am simply posting this in the hope that I may help someone else out that is having the same problem I had. -- Karol Pietrzak PGP KeyID: 3A1446A0 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
