I'm sitting at my desk, reconfiguring my network monitor, when the phone rings.
Caller-ID tells me it's James Pearson. I pick the receiver up and say:

It's an old iso, I really don't know.

no I tried with a total of 3 cd drive on 2 different linux box

yes, it works just fine.
I was just wondering why I can't mount it under linux but maybe it's a
problem with the hfs support of linux kernel or a problem with mount.
Maybe I'm telling this to the wrong ppl :)
