Hello,

I've tried the cdrecord versions 1.9, 1.11a6 (delivered with SuSE 7.3)
and 1.11a13 (compiled it myself).

When I run cdrecord with the commandline:

./cdrecord -v dev=0,1,0 fs=4m -dummy -nofix speed=12 -eject img1.iso

not only cdrecord, but the OS crashes.
cdrecord stops at the line
"Track 01: 0 of 286 MB written"

and only the CAPS Lock and the Scroll Lock LED on my keyboard is
blinking.
I have to switch the computer off and then reboot.

What's interesting though is that adding the option "-dao" to the
commandline, resulting in:

./cdrecord -v dev=0,1,0 fs=4m -dummy -nofix speed=12 -eject -dao
img1.iso

does work, despite the following message:
Sending CUE sheet...
./cdrecord: WARNING: Drive returns wrong startsec (0) using -150
Writing pregap for track 1 at -150
Starting new track at sector: 0

I can burn images with the option "-dao" but wasn't able to do
multisession cds.

The question is: Where comes the crash from?

Regards

Detlef Grittner
