I assume you wrote the disk with mkisofs? Windows machines can't read the Rock Ridge extensions. The maximum file name length for Joliet file names is 64 characters. mkisofs will preserve the case in Joliet file names, however Windows is case insensitive, so the file names could well be displayed in the original, upper or lower case.
