This is a Red Hat 7.2 system. This was an attempt to copy a CD, but the results are the same if I try to copy a file from the HD. The above happens with GQ 12X and CompUSA 24X disks. Maxell 12X Premium Grade disks seem to work fine. Also, with the same setup in Windows95 I can record to any of these disks, so I know the hardware is capable. Any help would be appreciated.
