I'm having difficulties blanking a CD-RW when using X-CD-Roast under Ximian Gnome. The blank appears to work but the load (on xosview) goes through the roof right up to 20 + procs/min until the system finally hangs. Interestingly, I don't get these problems if I run cdrecord --dev=0,0,0 --blank=all -v under the normal console without logging into gnome. Running this same command with gnome running (using gnome-terminal) also causes the system to hang.
