On a sunny Sun, 17 Mar 2002 09:23:26 +0100 (CET) Joerg Schilling gathered a sheaf of electrons and etched in their motions the following immortal words:
> >Joerg, you're such a fucking baby. > > >why cant you quit sniping about linux and actually send a fix for the > >problems? > > You are sooooo far from the problem! > > Do you like me to develop cdrecord or Linux? > It is not my duty to debug and fix other peoples software. Wake up and smell the open source. > I care the quality of cdrecord if the Linux developers do not care > the quality of Linux, it is a Linux problem :-( Perhaps. Perhaps its also true that the linux developers dont listen (I've found the reverse to be true with the code I've submitted to the kernel (ARM stuff). In any case, if you have a problem with linux, try something like: 'Feature XXX doesnt work / is a workaround for bug yyy in linux'. Instead of: 'Feature XXX is a crap 'hack' to work around a fundamental problem of that shit OS Linux produced by those stupid cunts who dont know what they are doing'. It goes down much better. Frankly, if the way you talk about Linux here is the same as the way you approach the kernel team, it is no wonder they seem to ignore you. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
