http://syslinux.zytor.com/iso.php might be the answer. At the very least
I had no problems to choose between multiple ms-dos floppy images
[loaded through http://syslinux.zytor.com/memdisk.php] and linux kernel.
Booting from given hd partition isn't supported, you can only drop to
mbr.
