Description:  No longer able to blank CD-RWs.  Can still burn CD-Rs and CD-RWs.
                       Used to work with Linux kernel ~2.4.14, now doesn't (using 2.4.18.)
                       After trying to blank, locks up cd burner; sometimes locks up system

System Details:
                       Linux 2.4.18
                       Generic CD-ROM, IOMEGA ZipCD650 internal EIDE drive;
                       both running under SCSI emulation via ide-scsi.
                       (I've also tried with only the burner using ide-scsi and the CD-ROM using ide-cd)

Thanks for such a great tool- hope someone can help me with this- I've destroyed enough rw discs now to be getting a little frustrated, especially as it used to work :-(.

I've included the output from an example attempt.  I can provide more details if needed- just let me know what you need to see.

Regards

Julian Rendell
