Hi!

I have a tiny problem with using cdrecord, but have never been to worried
about it. It's getting bit annoying, however, so:

If abort cdrecord (CTRL-C) after it has already started writing, the
burner seems to be stuck, the 'writing' LED is blinkig and will not become
available until the machine is restarted.

It's a Teac CD-W58E ATA burner and I use ide-scsi on linux 2.4.17 with
Alpha platform. I can remove and reinstall both related modules
(ide-scsi.o scsi_mod.o), but it doesn't change much - the green LED
remains blinking on the burner and the burner is still unusable.

What is the most likely cause for this - the linux SCSI subsystem, linux
IDE subsystem or the drive itself (firmware)???

Thanks for hints,

        D.
