You mention on your website that LG gave you a 8080B drive. I'm having some
problems using it in Linux (Mandrake 8.2 on a 450Mhz PII) to burn CD-RW media.
Here is the error that I get:

cdrecord: Input/output error. blank unit: scsi sendcmd: no error
CDB: A1 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
status: 0x2 (CHECK CONDITION)
Sense Bytes: 70 00 04 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 09 00 00 00
Sense Key: 0x4 Hardware Error, Segment 0
Sense Code: 0x09 Qual 0x00 (track following error) Fru 0x0
Sense flags: Blk 0 (not valid)
cmd finished after 4.746s timeout 9600s
cdrecord: Cannot blank disk, aborting.

This, incidentally, is the error that I get when I try to burn a CD-R Audio
disk without DAO. When I include the -dao option, cdrecord seems to detect
and fix the problem on its own:

Performing OPC...
Sending CUE sheet...
cdrecord: WARNING: Drive returns wrong startsec (0) using -150
Writing pregap for track 1 at -150

ARG! Here is the -atip info for my drive:
