I am writing a cd recording program and it works well on SCSI CDR/W's however I am having problems on a Plexwriter IDE drive.
It records fine in TAO mode however in SAO it rejects my cue sheet. The sequence of commands is: set cd speed send opc info set write params (set sao mode) send cue sheet The send cue sheet command fails with 0x5 0x2c 0x00 - command sequence error, perhaps indicating I have missed some important command. Most unusual is that if I use cdrecord to record a disk in SAO mode and then use my program it works okay, the cue sheet is accepted and the recording completes as expected.
