The -probe option looks for known encodings of Macintosh files - it does
not try to guess what a non-encoded file may be ...

I believe the CREATOR for Internet Explorer is 'MSIE' - you could confirm
this by searching on the web for 'CREATOR Internet Explorer Macintosh' or
similar.

Not quite sure what you are asking - do you want to put the Macintosh and
PC versions of Internet Explorer on the CD?

There is nothing technically stopping you doing this - however, you need
to get the Macintosh binaries into a format that mkisofs can decode - see
the man pages for details.
