Dear Joerg, I really liked to use cdrtools, and when I like software, I always tend to develop some kind of sympathy for the author, because when the software is cool, I can imagine the author to be cool, too.
This was the first time I really needed help with cdrecord, and I am sure I described my problem detailed enough, so that other people can understand it. Especially the second question should be of great interest, because it reveals some kind of illogicalness. For you, dear Joerg, I will rephrase my question: Suppose you're going to the bakery and you request some bread, but the baker says, he can give you bread only if you also buy some biscuits. You would not like this. You understand? Well, maybe this is the last time I ask for help with cdrtools, because when the author responses with arrogance and ignorance, I tend to stop developing sympathy for him, and when this is the case, I could realize that the software is simply buggy and the author just does not want me to post this in a mailing list.
