To run two burners at once, you will probably have to have the burners on separate controllers (you do), set them for DMA operation (use hdparm), and have the source ISO image on another controller (IDE or SCSI).Hello! I have a Teac CD-W552E, which claims to be 52x writer. I have FUJIFILM 700MB media, that claims to be 1-52x multispeed capable. However, cdrecord only records at 16x speed. Why is that? Can I do anything about it? Also, how can I use 2 ATAPI writers in one machine? I tried putting them on separate IDE busses, but they still don't work together (at the same time).
That said, cdrecord should at least try to do the recording at the speed requested. Or did you mean it didn't work at that speed? If it won't even try recording at the speed you set you will have to wait for a better answer, I don't recall a way to get the software to tell you what speeds it will accept, but I haven't looked very hard.
