The same shit happend with a freshly compiled cdrecord from
cdrtools-2.01a15.tar.bz2 and NO changes. And yes, I was running cdrecord
as root - there is no other user on the system.

In the mean time, I have discovered it only happens with dummy writing.
When doing REAL write, everything goes fine.
