I am having a problem with burning DVD+RW's with my new DVD recorder. After patching the 2.4.18 kernel with Andy Polyakov's DVD+RW kernel patch, I am getting the follow error when I attempt to 'mkudffs --spartable=2 --media-type=cdrw'

I am running the kernel 2.4.18, but have seen this error under 2.4.21 and 2.4.22, as well. Does anyone know what could be happening, here? I can't make heads or tails out of this message. Strange thing: I successfully made three backups without error when I first installed this drive.
