Even though it's *theoretically* possible to arrange for this with ISO9660 (i.e. reserve some place in the beginning of media, burn down input stream till you know how large is it and *then* burn volume descriptor and directory structure), no such implementations are available. There're certain limitations too, most notably inability to restore hard-links (I have rockrestore in my TODO list, which would restore rock-ridge volume with hard-links, but I can't make no promises).
