Well I can write DVD+RW media just fine.I have tried Sony, TDK and
Sentinel 2.4X DVD+RW media and everything worked as expected.
I also tried in one of my friends WinXP, with Nero and with the TDK DVD+R
4X also everything worked as expected.
I also tried to put the DVD writer in my VIA controller, but I get the
same results. Also I tried to write 3 Dysan 2.4X media, 2 failed with the
same error and 1 was written successfully.
I will also try to write a TDK DVD-R 4X and I 'll report back.

I have tested this on my disks and cdroms, but they don't represent
what all drivers might do. I have asked Jarkko Lehti with his dvd writing
problem to try it...
Could it be related?
I will probably try today and report back.
