Hi, I just got the following error with growisofs when trying to burn a dvd iso:
growisofs -Z /dev/scd0=docs.iso :-( unable to GET CONFIGURATION: Operation not permitted :-( non-MMC unit? I started getting this error after compiling/installing the new 2.6.8.1 vanilla kernel on Debian/sid. If I load boot a vanilla 2.6.7 i got no problems. The 2.6.8.1 kernel has the same config. My dvd-burner is a LG GSA4040-B with firmware A304. dvd+rw-tools is 5.20.4.10.8-1 (Debian package) Is this a kernel bug or have i missed something? Anyone else got this problem?
