hello, i'm trying to burn a dvd iso (or copy a dvd on the fly) with growisofs and it bombs out saying it failed to change the write speed from 4x to 8x.
"dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/cdrom1" reports 8x writing speed, but "cdrecord -prcap /dev/cdrom1" reports a max write speed of 4x. i have an nec 2500a and i'm using 8x media. any suggestions? thanks for the help. p.s. as for versions, i'm using what came standard with fedora core 2 (actually, they might be updated). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
