The first few tracks a burnt correctly, then follows "media error". This is not a bug in cdrecord or Linux, but could be a bug in the burner's firmware, though I thought that would have been somewhat unlikely - CD burners are pretty stable. Most likely your media is crappy. Try a different brand or better quality, or a different batch. It's also possible that your hardware is defective.
