Solaris at ths point has the seme problems as other who did copy the inode generator from Solaris.

Well Solaris 10 (FCS comes out tomorrow) has no known issues with CD/DVD writing. Isn't this a big reason?
This is not an argument in favor of or against anything, but Betamax was clearly technically better than VHS, and the world chose the lower technology.
