Hi! Eversince upgrading the 708 from firmware 1.07 to 1.09, I get two "ioctl ILLEGAL REQUEST" error messages (kernel 2.4.27) while writing a DVD (verbatim +R 4x or +RW 4x)
With the new firmware the 708 seems to be unable to produce error free DVDs with "older" Verbatim +R 4x DVDs (43213). No write errors from growisofs, but read errors in files in the last 1/4 of the DVD. Has anybody else seen error message or errors like these with the new firmware?
