OK, good to know. Any way around this? > cdrecord-prodvd relies on mode_sense at the moment, meaning that it cannot > work with this drive, and growisofs seems to be untested... cdrecord-prodvd only tries to burn at 6x, which means it's basically useless. growisofs is a _little_ more compatible. With some discs, it'll let me choose a speed, and it'll actually work -- others, I can only choose certain speeds. See my thread on cdfreaks for more information about this problem: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?p=917047 > > GET [CURRENT] CONFIGURATION: > > Mounted Media: 1Bh, DVD+R > > Media ID: PRODISC/R03 > > Current Write Speed: 6.1x1385=8467KB/s > > Write Speed #0: 6.1x1385=8467KB/s > > Write Speed #1: 5.1x1385=7056KB/s > > Write Speed #2: 4.1x1385=5645KB/s > > Write Speed #3: 3.1x1385=4234KB/s > > Write Speed #4: 2.0x1385=2822KB/s > > Write Speed #5: 1.0x1385=1411KB/s > > get_configuration is not a command to obtain available write > speeds with... which feature number is that supposed to be? Hahaha, feature? I have no clue.. all I know is that this is what the drive reports...
