Hi! Just wanted to mention that I have a Memorex DVD16+/-DL4RWlD2 and used K3B with dvd+rw-tools and have had partial success!
I first used K3B to do a write on some TDK DVD-R 4.7GB. It seems to work okay up to about 84% (of about a 4.3GB image) but then it says: write failed: wrong medium type. But K3B seems to think that is okay and reports a successful write. After mounting the DVD to check it shows all the files, but only a certain number of them actually have all the data. (it seems like ~84%) It's okay though, because I just used another DVD to finish off whatever doesn't get written. Anyway, thought I would pass along the info after reading the HCN on the website. If there is any other info I can provide that can be useful to you let me know.
