I recently I stumbled upon btcflash, an excellent piece of software. I have a BTC 1004 and I successfully flashed it.
My question is what is required for btcflash to work with other types of hardware, especially plain DVD roms. Maybe the checksum algorithm? Are the ATAPI commands different per drive or is everybody following the standard (MMC-3)?
