Hi, > :-[ PERFORM OPC failed with SK=3h/ASC=73h/ACQ=03h]: Input/output error > Is there any index/list where i can take a look what exactly went wrong?
Those numbers are the SCSI error codes as returned by the drives. They are listed e.g. in MMC-5, Annex F. dvd+rw-tools provides a list at http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/linux/DVD+RW/keys.txt Your error code is 3 73 03 POWER CALIBRATION AREA ERROR which means that drive and media do not like each other. If this is often re-used media then it is worn out. If it is a new disc, then drive and media are not compatible enough. (Not unusual, regrettably.) This is hardly a matter of the program you use for writing. Try a different drive or a new media or media from a different manufacturer. Have a nice day :) Thomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
