Is there a way to know what speed are avilable using cdrecord or wodim?

Hello. Is there a way to tell how many different speeds are supported by the 
combination of the current driver and the disc in it? Suppose I want to find 
the answer I don't want to do 12 times dummy burn just to try every speed. 
Again I only have cdrecord / wodim packges with me but no cdrdao, on cygwin.
