Rhetoric and Communication Studies:  Relational Communication

 

The Department of Rhetoric and Communication Studies at the University of 
Richmond invites applications for a full-time one-year visiting faculty 
position for the 2008-9 academic year, beginning in August 2008. The successful 
candidate must be able to teach Introduction to Interpersonal Communication, 
and upper-division courses of candidate's specialty, including a course on 
Gender Communication. The teaching load is 4-4 (with two or three preps). No 
other research and service commitments.  Evidence of strong teaching skills is 
required.

 

Applicants with Ph.D.s are preferred, but ABDs with strong record in 
undergraduate teaching will also be considered. Send a curriculum vitae, a 
statement on teaching (philosophy, experience, plans, or sample syllabi), 
graduate transcripts, teaching evaluations, and two letters of recommendation
