YOURS(Youth Organizing Urban Revitalization Systems) a Baltimore based you empowerment non profit is looking to hire an Americorps employee to serve as a peer to peer debate educator. The Duties will include working two days a week at a high school as a debate coach and mentor, serving as a college liaison for that same high school, and providing general support to the Baltimore College Debate initiative. The position is an Americorps position and will provide the candidate with a stipend, money he can credit toward his education, and some basic benefits. We have a candidate selected for this position and he is well deserving, he is a BUDL graduate and a current college debater and like any student struggling to pay for his own school the job and the credit would greatly help.
