Hi, I'm trying to port a Haskell compiler to PocketPC, but right after trying some trivial things and before going into modifying the back-ends, I thought you guys would know better than me what the status of cegcc currently is.
The question is this simple: do you think it can be done with any of the current versions of cegcc (stable or development)? The part I would like to port is the backend: I want to be able to write Haskell programs for my PDA, running ghc/yhc/nhc in my PDA would not be necessary at all. Here's a link about porting GHC: http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/wiki/Building/Porting If anyone is particularly interested in working on this, please drop me a line. I would be glad to work with someone with more expertise than me on porting compilers to other platforms. Cheers, Iván. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: The Future of Linux Business White Paper from Novell.
