I looked through my archives. Most 64-bit related stuff appears to be :
- the old gdb version (which is now gone)
- some long long alignment issue (that recently reappeared)

Pedro upgraded a couple of our software components from upstream earlier
this year, this didn't make it into a release until now.

So I would be very interested to hear whether the new 32-bit binary
distribution works on 64-bit.
