Hi, I'm experiencing some significant framedrops on celBillboards with text (and only the ones with text). I had it on CS/cel 1.2, 1.3 and i have it now with 1.4. All my billboards have power of two textures and I'm using default fonts (as the celstrap.py exported from b2cs loads them).
The framedrops happen no matter how i set the text - through Python or XML. Also, the drops are a bit strange because even though the FPS value is higher than 50 or even 70 i get strange lags when moving camera - especially with mousemove. The movement gets, let's say, sluggish. For no billboards at all i get SPF value of 3msec. For every billboard with text it icreases by about 0.7msec and it seems to be a constant value, no matter the text's lenght. CS/cel 1.4 Ubuntu 8.04 Freetype version 2.3.5 Athlon XP 2000+, 768MiB, GF FX5700 Don't know what other information could be useful here but let me know and i'll provide it...
